Boys' Night Out?
Jan. 31st, 2005 08:55 pmSeveral days after the fight with Revan, Anakin stands in the Map Room of the Temple. Anakin had come here many times before when his mind was restless, unable to focus on one thing, too many thoughts crowding his head. So, as he did before, he does now, setting several dozen holographic planets spinning around him while recordings intoned details about them: customs, languages, native species, language, geography. He would distinguish one voice out of the clamour surrounding him, then trace another and another until he could clearly hear each amid the babble.
He listened to the details of such planets as Naboo, Korriban, and Tatooine. Coruscant, Hilo, and Mawan. Not to mention even more. The holograms spun around him, the voices sounding like nothing more than a strange mish-mash of sounds filling the room. And yet somehow, this exercise helps calm his mind and help him find focus. If he weren't busy concentrating, he might think this is what he should have done that day trying to meditate with Obi-Wan.
