Have you ever regretted a wish you made? Why/what happened?

Anakin frowns. "Simple answer? Yes."

Pause.

"You want more?" Sigh. "Fine."

"I grew up as a slave on Tatooine. Most everybody who knows me knows this. My whole up until I left, I wished to be free, to be able to travel the stars." Short laugh, "I wanted to become a great starpilot and see all the planets in the galaxy."

"Well, I got my wish. Most of it. I am free. I have traveled the starts, and will do so even more in the future. I suppose you could say I've become a great star pilot. I'm a Jedi. If there was ever a job to give you the chance to see all the planets there are, this is it." He glances down, then back up, "And I'm thankful, really. I don't know what would have happened to me if I'd stayed on Tatooine. Probably would've died in a podracing crash or something. But...I regret the wish, a little. I got what I wanted, but I had to leave behind everything I'd ever known and loved to do it. My mother is still back there and I-..." he breaks off.

"You've got your answer, now leave me alone."
