Reaching Home
[after this and before this]
Anakin brings the ship in for what is probably the smoothest landing he's ever made. He's already called in to the Temple and asked for there to be healers ready to receive Obi-Wan when he gets there. Unfortunately, Master Yoda is waiting as well. Anakin sighs but turns his attention to his own Master, carefully pulling him out of the ship and taking him to the waiting healers.
They ask him for details on what happened to Obi-Wan this time, and Anakin explains as best he knows what Obi-Wan's injuries may be. Once that is done, they start taking him down to the Healer's Ward and Anakin moves to follow.
He finds his progress impeded by the rap of a stick on his shins and looks down to see Master Yoda giving him a reproaching look, which Anakin is fully aware that he deserves. Anakin bows respectfully and drops to his knees so that he and the Jedi Master are more or less at eye level, "Master Yoda."
Yoda is not happy with the boy's actions in running off as he did, nor is he happy to see the Sith's lightsaber hanging from Anakin's belt that the young Jedi must have taken before he left. At least at the moment, under control his emotions are. Which is true, as the relief at getting Obi-Wan back in more or less one piece and the talk with Ciaran on the way back both help immensely with Anakin's state of mind. Now he's mostly just impatient to get down to the Healer's Ward and annoy the healer's for information on how Obi-Wan actually is. All Yoda says, however, is this, "Much to talk about we have, young Skywalker. Your explanation, I would like to hear."
Anakin nods and starts to try to explain, but it will probably come out as babble and it doesn't matter anyway as Yoda shakes his head. "Once Obi-Wan awakens time enough there will be for explanations. Go and wait for him you may."
Anakin blinks, surprised that Yoda is letting him off that easily for now, but just nods and bows again, and then runs off down the hall to the Healer's Ward.
