There's still something odd between them, something he has to chalk up to
the way things have changed in the galaxy and that Anakin hasn't been here
for it. He wonders if Obi-Wan thought he died.

Still, he turns and leads the way back to the speederbike, then out past
the edge of town, pausing only to be sure Obi-Wan is following. Eventually,
they'll get to where he stashed his starfighter. It seems more private than
just about anywhere else. Only then does he properly face Obi-Wan again.
"This is going to sound unbelievable but a few days ago I was on my way
here for a battle with the Separatists. Except I apparently arrived fifteen
years too late."
