She turns her head to glance over at him, and feels a pang of guilt--and maybe a little envy, too. Despite everything, there's about nothing she wouldn't give to see her home again. Kara swallows that selfish thought back, though, because this isn't about her. Mon-El had been right: she isn't a saint. But she can do the best she can to help people in spite of it.

And she's retrieving one right now to download every last bit of data about this Republic she can--including the route to actually get to its region of the galaxy.
Kara's able to smile now, even if it's faint. She's bouncing back from earlier. "This wasn't a wasted trip, at least. How's Kelex?" A wince pinches her features. She'd had to use her heat vision on him. It can't be pretty.
