Anakin certainly won't begrudge her a bit of fun. And he gets pretty focused on his work when he's fixing things, anyway. Machines are often easier than people for him to understand, even a machine he's never worked with before or seen its like.

Now that he has parts to work with, he doesn't waste any time. At some point when he's got his hands in Kelex's guts as he replaces wires and circuits he ends up pulling off the glove on his right hand. The cybernetic limb, after all, doesn't feel cold and its sensors help with this sort of delicate work.

He doesn't really think about how Kara might find it odd but eventually he lets out a triumphant sound as he closes Kelex back up. "Okay. I think he's ready to go. Probably."
